UV glue dispenser

The UV glue dispenser, DUV in short, has been designed to provide a precise, repeatable and fast dosing.

Description

The UV glue is dosed by the bushing on the tube or component, with great precision. We can attain an accurate dosing because the bushing mirrors the client's specs.

This dispenser is compatible with UV curing glues, which are polymerized by exposure to UV rays, as provided by the appropriate lamps. The most common UV glue is Loctite 3311.

The dispenser is not compatible with cyanoacrylates.

UV glue is used as an alternative to solvent when the latter is ineffective and when the tolerance between two parts to be assembled needs to be reduced.

Dispensing system operation

The UV glue is continuously circulated within the dosing bushing by an electro-mechanical pumping system.

The UV glue is simply distributed inserting the tubing or component in the bushing and immediately removing it.

Advantages

• dosing speed and simplicity: the dispensing procedure is very quick. It suffices to insert and immediately extract from the bushing the tube or component to be dosed.
• repeatability: minimum operator's training. The system ensures a repeatable quantity of dosed solvent and error-free process.
• optimal protection against the light: in order to avoid the UV glue polymerization inside the dispenser.
• wastage reduction and clean dosing: the dispenser configuration has been studied in order to reduce glue evaporation in the working area. Furthermore, the bushing structure/shape limits glue application only where it is needed.
• minimal environmental contamination: the (optional) vapor conveyor system extracts the vapors of dispensed solvent from the working area, making it healthier for the operators.
• flow regulation: the glue flow can be slightly increased or reduced rotating the appropriate knob.
• simple and fast cleaning and maintenance
• safe, quiet and practical configuration.
