Company Profile

Tecnoideal s.r.l. is located in Mirandola, Italy, which is the largest European centre of manufacturers of disposable medical products. The company, established in 1981, has developed a leadership position supplying the health care industry world wide with both standard and custom-made machines for production and testing of disposable devices. We have state-of-the-art technology for the assembly of plastic components and tubing for medical device manufacturing.

Our core technology is Tubing Processing: cutting, gluing, leak testing, coiling and wrapping. Tecnoideal has designed an unmatched system of solvent dispensing on parts to be assembled, that is currently utilized on our Automatic Assembly Solutions. .

The know-how in integrity testing is another key technology of Tecnoideal and, in addition to its application on Automatic Assembly Machines, we have thousands of bench-top testing equipments on the market for medical devices integrity testing.

Nowadays, Tecnoideal can count on a network of specialised suppliers and on the expertise and capability of highly skilled engineers. Since the end of 2004, thanks to the incorporation of Ergotek, we also design and build injection moulds for plastic medical components.

Tecnoideal s.r.l.
The company was founded in 1981

MEDICA Group
Since 1990, Tecnoideal has been part of MEDICA Group. The mother company is MEDICA s.r.l. (based in Medolla, Italy).

TechnoMed Inc.
In 1995 Tecnoideal, together with entrepreneur Kenneth J. Patti, co-founded TechnoMed Inc., The company markets and distributes Tecnoideal’s products in USA, Canada, and Central America.

Ergotek s.r.l.
In 2001 the Group has expanded by acquiring Ergotek s.r.l. a renowned manufacturer of moulds for plastic parts. The company was incorporated into Tecnoideal in 2004.
